14. Can DHL Supply Chain communicate with us about the Union?
Yes, we can, and we hope you look to us to provide you with all of the facts about what having a union would really be like at our company. You should also know that while the union is allowed to make promises and exaggerate about what would happen if they win, DSC cannot - and will not - make promises about what will happen if the union loses. The law prohibits companies from making promises - even though the Union is allowed to promise and even mislead associates!
Investment Calculator
Investment Calculator
This calculator compares what happens when dues money is given to the Union versus investing that same dues money in an investment account of your choice.
At first glance, union dues may not seem that unreasonable.
That is, until you start to add them up month after month, and year after year. It's a lot more money than you may think.
Especially when you add it to the dues money already paid, the returns you could have earned by putting your money into an investment for the future. As you will see, this money could go a long way towards your mortgage, children’s education, retirement, etc.
Strike Calculator
Strike Calculator
If you were to elect the Teamsters Union to represent you, you may possibly face a strike. Find out what a strike could cost you.
You may be striking for increased benefits or wages (and extra powers for the Union), but what would a strike cost you? And would it be worth the price tag?
