As a self-represented associate, you do not have to sign an authorization card, petition or support a union in any way.

If you refuse to sign an authorization card or petition, you give your family, our customers and your company a vote that working directly together…union free…is the best way.

A union could change the culture in your workplace, which is currently an open-door culture of honesty, fair dealing, dignity and respect.

No company is free from day-to-day problems, but but we believe we have the policies, practices and personnel to help resolve issues, without the intervention of outsiders.

Unions don't add value and there is a risk of getting called out on strike. In addition to loss of wages and benefits, in certain circumstances, associates can be lawfully permanently replaced.

The presence of the Union would change the relationships between managers, supervisors and associates for the worse.

Even if you don't vote for the union, you could be forced to pay union dues or fees if a security clause is in the contract. With a union security clause, the union can demand the termination of any associate who does not want to pay dues or fees.

Once a union represents you, all of your current wages, benefits and working conditions are subject to negotiations in which you have no voice. You could end up with more or the same as you have now, or even less. There are no guarantees.

DHL Supply Chain reviews wages and benefits regularly in order to stay competitive with the job market. If a union represents you, a multi-year collective bargaining agreement could prevent us from making adjustments each year, even if those adjustments would be in your favor.
